H.Y.P.E Mission
HYPE Counseling Services, LLC was established in 2007 to bridge the gap between our youth and their needs by providing intensive supportive services. In 2011, HYPE Counseling Services began servicing the adult population by offering mental health support services. We recognized the importance of providing a quality program that allows children, adolescents, and adults to develop the skills necessary to live independently in their homes and in the community.
To expand our services even further, HYPE Counseling Services now offers Community Stabilization and Addiction and Recovery Treatment. Community Stabilization provides short term intensive mental health care to individuals who are experiencing an acute psychiatric crisis. The goal is to address and stabilize mental health needs as early as possible. Addiction and Recovery Treatment is designed for individuals requiring a level of care that is less intensive than inpatient, residential, or partial hospitalization while they recover from addiction treatment.

Question 1: What types of counseling services do you offer?
We provide Community Stabilization, Mental Health Skill Building, Intensive In Home services, and an array of Substance Abuse services including peer support, residential and substance use groups.
Question 2: Do you offer family and/or marital counseling?
We partner with Central Virginia Preferred Providers which offers an extensive line of Psychiatric, Therapy and Counseling services. For more information, check out their link below.
Question 3: What types of payment do you accept?
We are contracted with the Virginia Department of Medical Assistance Services (Mediciad) and accept all Managed Care Orginizations. We do not accept any private pay, or commercial insurance carriers at this time.
Question 4: Do you offer Substance Abuse programs?
Yes. Currently we offer Substance Use groups, Peer Support and different levels of residential programing.
Question 5: Do you offer virtual or online services?
Yes, some of our services can be provided virtually or via telehealth. Please ask which ones!

Blue Arc Behavioral Services
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is considered the Gold Standard for the treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorders. It can also produce positive behavior change for children and individuals with ADHD, OCD, developmental delays, and other intellectual disorders that impact communication, social behavior, and skills of independence or result in challenging behaviors.
We specialize in delivering various mental health and substance abuse services for individuals needing support and assistance in becoming independently stable in the community.
