Established in 2007, HYPE Counseling Services, LLC is a mental and behavioral health provider that aims to help both youth and adults gain the skills they need to live independently. The name HYPE stands for "Helping You Pursue Excellence."

HYPE's initial focus was on providing Intensive In-Home Services for children and adolescents aged 5 to 17. These services are designed for young people whose mental health or behavioral challenges put them at risk of being removed from their home. The goal is to provide frequent, structured support to help the family manage these issues and stay together.

Starting in 2011, HYPE expanded its offerings to adults. We provide Mental Health Skill-Building Services for individuals 18 and older who are living with serious mental illnesses. The program helps them learn essential daily living skills, such as personal hygiene, managing appointments, and navigating the community.

HYPE has continued to grow its services to meet community needs, which now include:

Community Stabilization Services: Short-term, intensive care for individuals experiencing an acute psychiatric crisis. The goal is to stabilize the situation and prevent psychiatric hospitalization.

Substance Use Disorder Services: Offering a range of treatment options, from outpatient to low-intensity residential care, to support individuals in their recovery journey.
